“
We took it too far. We became the kind of women that we hate, turned you into a monster.
”
Britta Perry
Outside on a basketball court, Troy and Jeff are playing a one-on-one game as Abed watches. Nearby, Britta, Annie, and Shirley are discussing their new Women's Studies course. Pierce arrives and disrupts the game with a radio controlled helicopter he bought. Jeff throws the ball at it but ends up hitting the table the women were seated. Annoyed, the three ladies leave for their class as does Abed who decides to join them. Jeff loses the game and kicks the ball into the hedges; when Troy goes to retrieve it he makes a startling discovery.

Miss
2 points for hitting the water bottle.
At the women's studies class, the female study group members ignore Abed and take seats in the front row away from him. However, after settling in, three young female students bully them into leaving. They join Abed in the back of the room and Shirley explains that trio are campus mean girls led by Meghan. Abed uses his observation skills to insult the three girls impressing his friends. Meanwhile, Jeff follows after Troy and finds him in a secret garden bouncing away on a trampoline. A Greendale groundskeeper shows up and introduces himself as Joshua. He informs them that the trampoline is a tool to reach a state of bliss.

Mean girls
The mean girls.
They can use it but must follow two rules: the garden must remain a secret and no double bouncing. Jeff tries the trampoline out and experiences a peaceful sensation. In the student lounge, the study group ladies enjoy Abed's knack for pointing out physical imperfections. When Abed goes to the cafeteria he winds up confronting Meghan and her friends at their table. He uses his newfound abilities to publicly humiliate them and chase the away. Abed is joined by Britta, Annie and Shirley who celebrate the fall of the campus mean girls. Elsewhere, Troy and Jeff are still bouncing away on the trampoline without a care in the world.

Bouncy bouncy
Bouncy, bouncy!
Back at school, the study group ladies find a victim for Abed to insult. In the study room, Pierce tries again to join Troy and Jeff's activities but they refuse him. The study group ladies walk in with Abed in tow and Jeff congenially objects to Britta's new aggressive attitude. She has Abed insult him but Jeff is too laid-back to care. The girls and Abed leave, as does Pierce, who tells Troy and Jeff he will be watching them closely. When Troy and Jeff head out for another trampoline session they are unaware Pierce used his Draganflyer to follow them.

2X7 Thses balls on your butts
'"These balls on your butts."'
The ladies find a trio of coeds sitting in their usual sofa in the commons area so Britta insults one girl and they leave. Abed is confused by the hypocrisy ultimately concluding everyone is fair game and begins to verbally abuse anyone he sees. At the secret garden, Jeff and Troy's serenity is shattered when Pierce shows up. Initially he starts bouncing on the trampoline alone his own until he threatens to reveal the gardens location unless someone bounces with him. Troy capitulates but the double bouncing results in Pierce getting bounced so high he flies over a hedge into a dumpster and breaks both of his legs.

2x07-Shirley Britta Annie HUD bitches
They're all bitches.
In the cafeteria, Abed's insults have led to him becoming a pariah as no one wants to be anywhere near him. Realizing he's gone too far, he seeks out Meghan and hands her index cards of insults to use against him to restore the status quo. Outside, Pierce's accident led to construction workers destroying the trampoline. Joshua tells Jeff and Troy that the trampoline cost him his job but he blames himself for trusting a black guy. Jeff and Troy are stunned until they recall several ambiguous incidents that hinted at Joshua's racism. A now wheel chair bound Pierce tells Jeff and Troy that true paradise exists “right here” as he holds his hand over his chest. When Jeff and Troy leave, Pierce pulls a bottle of medication from a pocket where his hand was resting.

2x07-Jeff Joshua maze tatoo
It's going to be a maze.
In the cafeteria, Meghan and her friends confront Abed's and begin to verbally assault him with scathing insults he provided. As Meghan's insults continue, others in the cafeteria begins to voice their approval. She finishes by admitting that she acts mean sometimes to boost her own self-esteem but Abed did it to fit in. She walks away to cheers but Shirley, Annie, and Britta who witnessed the scene comfort Abed. They apologize for turning into the kind of women they hate and for turning Abed into someone everybody hated. He admits that he got carried away and they all agree to be more forgiving in the future. Jeff and Troy arrive with Pierce who is flying his Draganflyer. Pierce claims that there is a little man controlling the R/C helicopter. The rest of the group witness Pierce talking to the imaginary figure who Pierce hallucinates is telling him to take more pills.
