Summary
"At Least It Was Here" is the main theme song to Community recorded by the indie rock band The 88. It has been used in the opening title sequence since the Season One episode Spanish 101. The title has the song playing as the credits for the actors appear on a rotating paper fortune teller. In several episodes the song and the paper fortune teller have been changed to fit the theme of a particular episode such as in the Season Two episode "Advanced Dungeons and Dragons". In the Season Three episode "Introduction to Finality" a longer version of the song was used in a closing montage. The complete extended version of the song appears on the official Community soundtrack which was released on September 21, 2010. The abbreviated version is track 1 and the extended version is track 18.

Trivia
Incorrect lyrics
The lyrics have become somewhat controversial as it’s been interpreted by fans to have a darker meaning. Particularly the line “Tie me to dream” has been misheard by some fans as “Tie me to tree” or “Tie me to a tree” which seems to indicate hanging. According to the official lyrics, seen HERE, that’s not the case. This article has been changed to these wrong lyrics so many times that a block was put on this page on November 16, 2017 to prevent further incorrect edits.
