At the end of the 2015 semester at Greendale, Jeff struggled with his fear that his friends might leave him eventually. This came to a head when Annie and Abed announced they were leaving Colorado to pursue some great opportunities during the summer. It was only after Jeff had a heart-to-heart talk with Annie that he came to accept they might not return. The song "Ends of the Earth" played as Jeff and his friends had a group hug. It continued over a montage of Jeff dropping off Annie and Abed at the airport and him going to The Vatican to share a drink with the remaining committee members. The song was first heard in the Season Six episode "Emotional Consequences of Broadcast Television". |
