Changing bears into "Fat Dogs".
|
In the study group's fifth year at Greendale, the Save Greendale Committee had to come up with a theme for the upcoming Mid-Term dance. Annie left the dance planning details to Jeff, Duncan, Shirley and Chang. Chang came up with the theme of "Bear down for Mid-Terms". The others rejected his idea at first but changed their minds when Chang began to cry. Neil eventually revealed that the source of Chang's inspiration was a news report about a recent bear attack at a child's birthday party. The committee quickly re-purposed all the bear decorations they completed into a new theme, "Fat Dog". Chang also created a song and dance to try and legitimize the phrase further. "Fat Dog" was first heard in the Season Five episode "Analysis of Cork-Based Networking."
