I don't think there is a uniform article structure that every Wikia must follow, the structure varies from Wiki to Wiki. This is the style every episode article has had for the past few years. I haven't got any official complaints, I'm sure my co administrator, who is also a member of the Wikia staff, would have told me if the format was wrong.
No, I have compared many wikia pages such as Halo, Game of Thrones, Star Wars, Star Trek etc. All of the big name wikias have a strict structure that they adhere to because they get lots of attention from experienced wikia editors. I have studied this structure and I think I can edit this page while sticking to this structuring.
I see you're an experienced editor. I would've thought you'd agree with me. I know many other experienced wikia editors who do. Talk to TheDragonDemands on the Game of Thrones wiki. he edits multiple wikias and I think he can tell you why structuring is important more than I can.
Like I said earlier, each Wikia develops their own style. All the main categories that an article like "Basic Lupine Urology" should have ( template with basic information, summary of the episode, plot details, trivia on the episode, etc) are there. Just because the presentation may look different from the other Wikias doesn't make it wrong. The way the format has evolved has been a gradual collaboration between me and various other contributors. It has as much merit as the other more popular Wikias. It's also worth noting also that the other Wikis you mentioned are covering media which is inherently different from the what this site is focused on. This Wikia is more closely inspired by The Arrested Development Wikia and The Scrubs Wikia which cover a similar subject matter.
