Vinnie is the owner of "The Doppel Gang", an agency which provides celebrity impressionists for entertainment at parties. He was himself a French Stewart impersonator at the height of the actor's popularity but later formed the company when that actor's star fell. The impressionists are also available for private and individual sessions, and Abed ended up running a costly tab on these rentals. His first and only appearance was in the Season Three episode "Contemporary Impressionists". He is actually portrayed by actor French Stewart.
|In the study group's third year at Greendale, Vinnie came to the campus looking to settle a debt Abed had with his company "The Doppelgang". Vinnie found him in the cafeteria with his friends and asks for the three thousand dollars he was owed for having rented Abed celebrity impressionists for his own personal use. Abed nonchalantly tells him to put it on his tab unaware of the seriousness of the situation. Vinnie then notices the similarity the study group has to certain famous celebrities. He proposes an alternative for Abed to repay him by having his friends work along side his impressionists at a Bar Mitsvah gig. The group is reluctant to help considering it would just be enabling Abed's poor choices but Troy manages to convince them otherwise and they all agree to help out. Privately Troy thanks Vinnie for giving them a chance to settle the debt. Vinnie then issues Troy a warning that if things don't go smoothly at the event he would break Abed's legs.
|The night of the Howie Schwartz Bar Mitzvah, Troy does his best to keep the study group focused on their celebrity impersonator assignments under the watchful eye of Vinnie. Abed proves difficult to reign in but Troy manages to explain away his friend's blatant disregard for the rules Vinnie laid out earlier that evening. Towards the end of the night however, an incident with Jeff occurs that is not so easily dismissed. Having over medicated on anti anxiety pills, Jeff has a an ego-fueled rampage and storms the stage during a faux-award ceremony. Ben Chang, who had been hired as security, shoots him with his tranquilizer gun putting an end to the spectacle. Vinnie angrily turns to Troy but before he can say anything, the guest of honor Howie Schwartz declares he enjoyed the incident thinking it is a Hulk impression. Vinnie tells Troy he lucked out and that Abed's debt is now clear ("Contemporary Impressionists").
